On Saturday October 3, Cave Spring Fire Department held an open house to kick-off NFPA's National Fire Safety Week.  This event was designed to provide fire safety activities for adults and children, as well as allow the local community to visit with our firefighters, tour our station and trucks.  Events included the severe weather trailer, fire extinguisher use demonstrations, moon walks for the kids and food for everone. This event was a huge success and we hope to make it an annual event in years to come. Thanks again for everyone's help and the great community turnout.
