At approximately 5:36pm, CSVFD responded with Station 11 (Back Creek) and Station 8 (Bent Mountain) to multiple reports of a brush fire near the intersection of Bent Mountain Road and Empire Lane. Units arrived to find two small brush fires spaced approximately 50 feet apart. A quick knock down was made when Engine 11 arrived while Engine 3, supplied by Tanker 3, stretched a line up the hill to overhaul the fire. Units cleared after about an hour.
