Commercial Gas Leak
At approximately 5:20 Sunday evening, CSVFD and Station 7 (Clearbrook) were dispatched to a commercial gas leak at the Kroger near Tanglewood. Customers stated they smelt a strong smell of gas at the front of the store. Upon further investigation, crews found that the leak was coming from the Red Palace restaurant next door.
The issue was mitigated by evacuating the complex, shutting off the gas, ventilating the structure, and monitoring levels of Natural Gas. Units cleared the scene approx. two hours from arrival.
