Sheldon Drive Structure Fire

At approximately 11:38 am, units from Station 3 (CSVFD, Roanoke County Fire & Rescue, Cave Spring Rescue Squad) were dispatched to the 4300 block of Sheldon Drive for the report of a residential structure fire.
Upon the arrival of units from Station 3, only four minutes after dispatch, they arrived to find a detached shed behind the residence fully involved. Crews stretched an attack line and had the fire under control within five minutes.
Units remained on the scene for about an hour to ensure the fire was completely out. The Roanoke County Fire Marshall’s Office is on scene investigating the cause of the fire. There were no injuries that occurred as a result of the fire.
